Trip Leader
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of youth while creating unforgettable memories? Join the HYPE movement as a Trip Leader!
As a Trip Leader, you’ll be responsible for guiding a group of youth through life-changing experiences. Your role is to inspire, mentor, and empower them as they participate in service projects, spiritual growth activities, and team-building adventures. You’ll create an environment where every youth feels valued, strengthened in their faith, and motivated to make a difference in their community.

From organizing daily activities and cheering on your group to facilitating discussions about faith and leadership, you'll play a vital part in shaping the success of each trip. Trip Leaders also model the values of the gospel, set a positive example, and help youth navigate challenges and build lasting friendships.

Must be between 20 and 30 years old.

A reflection of your commitment to live gospel principles.
Current Temple Recommend
Encouraging spontaneous dance parties is a definite plus!
Special Skills (Optional)

Are Trip Leaders Paid?
Absolutely! Trip Leaders are compensated for their hard work and dedication with $1500 USD by the end of the session.
02.
When Can I Apply?
Applications open after trip locations are announced. You will receive a decision regarding your application by March 1.
03.
What is the Commitment?
Trip Leaders need to be available from early June through mid-August at their assigned location.
04.
Can I Go With My Spouse?
Yes! HYPE encourages married couples to apply and lead together. All trip leaders, single or married, follow the same guidelines.
05.
Am I Qualified?
If you’re a kind, energetic, and caring 20–30-year-old with a strong testimony and commitment to serving youth, you’re exactly what we’re looking for!
06.
What About Training?
All Trip Leaders will attend a mandatory three-day training (dates announced upon hiring). Training can be attended in-person or via Zoom and promises to be inspiring and practical.
